Lerner, David, Littenberg, Krumholz & Mentlik, LLP is interested in adding to its Docketing Division. This position is responsible for entering, de-docketing and revising all prosecution docket entries for the firm. This position requires independent knowledge and ability of calculating out correct due date and docketing dates for domestic and international patent and trademark prosecution. This position is also responsible for researching and following up on all docket entries provided by others in the firm. Extensive knowledge of due dates, response dates and follow-up dates in the patent and trademark prosecution industry is expected. In addition, the following general basic qualifications are required: professional demeanor, critical attention to detail and accuracy, proficiency in docketing software (preferably CPA (Inprotech) and IPDAS, with, general familiarity with MicroSoft Windows software. Ability to work in a team environment is essential.
Extensive knowledge of domestic and international patent prosecution procedures in the United States.

Familiarity with CPA Global (Inprotech) and IPDAS or similar IP software.
Ability to work independently and accurately.
Excellent computer and organizational skills.
Able to work in a team environment.
A minimum of five years’ experience working in patent prosecution in a paralegal capacity.
General knowledge of the MicroSoft Office Suite.
Ability to carry and move files of up to 5 pounds.
Ability to work overtime from time to time when needed.
College degree preferred.
