The organization hosting the Seminar JPPCLE is a not for profit organization dedicated to providing continuing legal education and to facilitate the diffusion of knowledge and understanding of patent law and practice. The JPPCLE presents an annual, one-day seminar featuring knowledgeable speakers (including judges, government officials, and experienced attorneys) who discuss recent cases, legislation, and regulations involving patent law and practice in a comprehensive and concise format, and publishes a book containing written materials. The 1st Annual Joint Patent Practice Seminar was held in New York on May 7, 1985. The seminar has been held every year thereafter.
