According to Juristat, it is the only ranking of U.S. law firms based on objective measurements of firm performance. Its analysis is based on a weighted average of the following four key metrics, including total number of applications filed, allowance rate, average number of office actions before allowance, and average time to allowance. The average number of office actions to allowance considered those applications disposed between July 1, 2014 and June 30, 2015, and the number of applications filed was based on that same time period.
