For over a decade, our Human Resources Director, Doreen Marino, has been a member of the New Jersey Association of Legal Administrators (NJALA). Doreen was the President of the NJALA where she lead monthly educational sessions on the management of law firms. She was also a Chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee, which is one of the sub-committees of the association.
The NJALA is committed to the goal of strengthening diversity throughout the legal industry through affirmative efforts of the Committee and through education of its members and member firms. It has long ago embraced the concepts of diversity and inclusion and recognizes that continuously promoting and nurturing diversity and inclusion efforts is an integral part of its mission to strive for excellence as an Association. The NJALA is dedicated to fostering an environment that embraces differences, promotes equality, and engenders mutual respect, thereby creating a culture of inclusion where everyone has the opportunity to excel. Its diversity and inclusion efforts help foster a community at NJALA that is built on the idea that similarities and differences are a source of its strength.
