John M. Klaczany

John is an associate with the firm. His work primarily focuses on patent preparation and prosecution in the chemical and mechanical arts.

During law school, John was very involved in intellectual property coursework and activities. He graduated with an Intellectual Property Law Concentration and was the Co-President of Seton Hall Law’s Intellectual Property Law Association. In that role, John organized various panels and events aimed at fostering student body interest in patent law. While enrolled at Seton Hall Law, John also worked for one of the nation’s largest defense contractors drafting IP licensing agreements related to warfighter flight controls.

Prior to law school, John studied chemical engineering at Rutgers University where he discovered his passion for science and technology. Afterwards, he worked as a process engineer at a large beverage manufacturer. There, he utilized his engineering skills and scientific acumen to improve line efficiency and design innovative systems capable of running new products.

John is a member of the Ukrainian American Bar Association, and is involved with the organization’s Intellectual Property Committee.
