Alex Ganescu focuses his practice on client counseling, and the preparation and prosecution of patent applications directed to software and other computer-related technologies. Alex has experience working with inventors in the areas of artificial intelligence, including machine learning. Alex has prepared and prosecuted applications related to core machine learning technologies, such as neural networks, including recurrent neural networks and convolutional neural networks. Alex has experience preparing and prosecuting applications for inventions applying machine learning techniques to various domains, such as computer vision and audio/video processing, healthcare, agriculture, and network security.

In addition, Alex has some experience in reinforcement learning as it applies to different technical fields, such as robotics. Alex has also worked on applications related to cloud infrastructure and distributed computing, different techniques for improving the efficiency of data processing on cloud computing platforms, and static analysis of source code.
