Presentation to the Garden State Wine Growers Association on trademark acquisition and protection for wineries in October 2018 Lerner David’s Charles Kennedy presented a discussion of “Selection and Protection of Brand Identification” for the members of the Garden State Wine Growers Association. The discussion focused on the proper procedures for creating, clearing and registering trademarks, trade dress and other brand identification used by wineries. The presentation also reviewed infringement issues regarding labels used by wineries. The gathering of the Garden State Wine Growers Association was held on October 17, 2018 in Bordentown, New Jersey.
